Best investment I have made to alleviate back and "backside" discomfort since my TENS unit purchase 6+ yrs ago. Lightweight and discreet--I have carried this EVERYWHERE for past year (doc offices, restaurants, airplanes, amusement park (ok, that wasn't for my amusement). I also keep it in my driver's seat. Unlike memory foam it does not get hard in winter and collapse in high temps. Interestingly, it does not hold heat and is cooler on bare legs than car's interior. Because it is black I have left it behind many times, but have always retrieved it before departing because it is so essential to driver's/passenger' seat comfort. At least it doesn't look like a granny cushion! I have some that do. This version is also low profile (disappears from view while seated) and so it doesn't leave my heels to dangle off the floor. Also doesn't create new discomfort on back of leg as some hard edged cushions or nubby fabrics do. Wish I had two more for convenience, but a big inve$tment. My healthcare savings acct should "reimburse" the first purchase. Some insurance companies may approve this as a medical device. If not, ROHO makes other sizes and heights (including some to accommodate wheelchairs). I'm sorry you are shopping for relief, but hope you find the right seat for your needs. btw- I found right inflation level in just a few trys and haven't needed to adjust since. Do not be tempted to inflate to level that LOOKS good. It needs to have some sag. :)
